Here at Prefix Systems we take your data privacy very seriously and have policies and procedures in-place to ensure your data is kept safe at all times, and that no unauthorised use of your data will take place. Explicit consent will be asked for whenever we request your personal information, and it'll be made clear to you how we intend to use your data.

General website browsing

This website does not collect personal information unless we specifically ask for information from you. We do collect anonymous information such as pages viewed etc. for the sole purpose of analysing what content and features people find interesting and useful. We will use this information to improve the user experience and decide what new features may be welcome.

Personal data we collect

If you want to take advantage of specific services that we offer you may be asked for personal information. In this instance we will only use the personal information you provide to deliver the services and information you have asked us to. For example, if you request we contact you, the information will only be used to contact you and not passed on to third parties or used for any other purpose. When you fill in the contact us form or request a brochure, this is sent directly to a secure email address which we then use to pass on to the relevant Prefix System employees.

How we'll use your personal data

We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information, gathered as a result of completing the forms on this website, to anyone. We will however send personally identifiable information about you to other partner organisations, companies or people when we have your consent to share the information; where we respond to court orders, legal processes or where we are required by law to do so; or where a service you have requested is supplied by a partner organisation on our behalf.

Mailchimp

When you choose to sign up to our newsletter, your name and email address will be shared with our mailing list provider Mailchimp. This data is stored securely and access is restricted to relevant Prefix System employees. You can unsubscribe from mailing lists by either following the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us at marketing@prefixsystems.co.uk. ACT

When you choose to contact us via the website forms, your data will be added into our CRM database – ACT! Act! is a customer relationship management software application which is used to keep track of client and prospect details in a single database that can be shared by multiple users. These multiple users are Prefix System employees and all database are accessed via a secure log in. If you do not want your information to be added into ACT! please email privacy@prefixsystems.co.uk

Live Chat

If you choose to contact us through the website via Live Chat, your name, email address and any other information you provide will be stored on the desktop & mobile app of which only certain Prefix Systems employees have access to via a secure log in. Any information which we gather will be used to pass on to our registered installer but you will be explicitly informed of this within the chat and consent will be asked from you before this happens. Chat archives are only retained for a period where it has been deemed beneficial to you, and an explicit request has not been made to remove such data. Security

All personal data captured is securely transferred and stored. Access to this stored data is restricted to authorised Prefix Systems employees who require the data to act on your behalf.

We use cookies – small text files stored on your computer – to learn more about how you use our website so that we can improve it over time. Like many other websites we use Google Analytics to collect this data.
