Our best FIT Show yet!
Another successful year at the FIT Show!
As our third time exhibiting, this year's FIT Show was definitely our biggest and best yet. Our stand which featured over 10 different products was a huge hit with all our visitors and we have had over 300 quality leads on the back of it.
We thought that surpassing the success of our 2016 stand would be a tall order, yet as the show concluded, not only did we benefit from a record footfall, but we enjoyed several hundred pre-qualified sales leads and some hugely positive feedback for our new developments.
Aluminium products played a central role on the stand as we look to extend our aluminium range of products to cater for full kit aluminium conservatories and extensions. The formal launch of WARMroof Hybrid at the show now takes us to the next stage in the evolution of our WARMroof system, which as we have proven, is the most configurable solid, insulated and tiled roof in the sector. The WARMroof Hybrid display was based on a dual pitch with a typical 30 degrees right hand side with full length, triple glazed glass units and to the left at 15 degrees with two Velux rooflights.
One of the busiest parts of the stand was the Verandah which was integrated into our WARMroof extension to provide a multi-use structure. The Verandah once again proved popular in the striking black crackle finish, as we continue to look at sales opportunities for 3-season outdoor living.
OPUS products were featured throughout the stand in terms of windows, bi-folding doors, lantern roof and the lean-to within the central area, as the market for hybrid glazing begins to open up. There was also a triple window display of the OPUS window system, in close proximity to the iX250 Orangery.
The iX250 Orangery was again a focal point on the stand, with a traditional fascia detailing around the perimeter, two ultraSky lantern roofs, including one with the Opus under cladding. The new Smart Systems VS 600 sliding sash window within the Orangery, combined period detailing with slimline aluminium profiles and were featured alongside windows and double doors from the Alitherm 47 suite.
This year’s FIT Show also proved to be the platform for the commercial launch of our contemporary URBANroom which was presented as a full aluminium system with full height glazing and in a sky blue finish from the Smart Systems Sensations range. This is the true modern day glazed extension and now available as a complete kit from all 5 branches.
Other products on show also included a new prototype aluminium entrance door and a free-standing display of 28 top cappings, helping to promote the number of colour options that can be enjoyed in extended living spaces. Prefix have always championed bespoke colour solutions and have invested heavily in this area.
The organisers have revealed that 9,935 unique visitors attended this year’s FIT Show, this is an increase of almost 17% (16.85%) more unique visitors compared to the previous FIT Show in 2016 (8502), offering a massive boost of 62% more visitors in just two events.
