We are excited to share a very impressive commerical Prefix WARMroof® installation. Installed at the Gwesty Fferm Lastra Farm Hotel in Anglesey, Wales by Ar-fon Windows, their restaurant which had an old, tired polycarbonate roof has been completely transformed with our Award Winning Solid Roof system & tie-bar detail.
The installation which was carried out at the popular hotel and restaurant, wasn't without its challenges - but nothing the Prefix WARMroof® couldn't achieve!
Details of the installation include:
- A difficult box gutter detail that passed through an existing tiled roof
- Steels in the ridge came fully backed up with Structural Engineer's calculations to satisfy the Building Inspector.
- Our unique retrofit posts were used allowing the existing frames to be kept - proving that even huge roofs with steels in like this are possible with our Retrofit post solution
- Two Prefix team members went over to Anglesey to survey the job and then Andy, our Business Development Manager spent 3 days on site on the assisted fit to provide technical assistance and support for the installer.
