Britmet Liteslate is an innovative synthetic slate roofing tile made from 90% recycled polymers with all the characteristics you can expect from a traditional slate tile. 

Liteslate offers an authentic finish with riven edges, various colour choices and impeccable durability.

To perfect the aesthetics and performance qualities of Liteslate, real welsh slate was used in the design process. Although unlike natural slate, Liteslate won’t chip, break, crack or delaminate due to its ground-breaking design and cutting-edge manufacturing process. 

 Liteslate was designed with the environment in mind. Over 90% of the Polymers that LiteSlate is made from are recycled. It has also passed its fire testing with a BS476-3 Fire Rating.

As Liteslate is compression moulded, it makes for even easier installation due to the detailed impressions displaying where to fix the slate. It is also easy to cut as you only require a  sharp blade or fine-tooth saw so there is much less disruption on site and no time is wasted spending hours cutting materials.

So why have we introduced Britmet?

It's very important to us to constantly improve our offerings for customers and offering a variety of tile options for our Prefix WARMroof® was no exception. The WARMroof is now available with 3 stock tiles in a wide range of colours to allow our trade partners to offer a variety of options to homeowners. We also feel its green credentials will appeal to consumers. Britmet Liteslate is available in 7 colours so there's a colour to match every house (or contrast!)
