From June 2022, there are important changes being made to the thermal requirements for home extensions and replacement tiled roofs. Whilst some conservatory or porches remain exempt installers need to be ready for the changes in legislation.
The Prefix WARMroof® conforms to the new Approved Document Part L volume 1 – Building Control changes which come into effect from June 2022. Our WARMroof® can achieve U values as low as 0.13. Whilst our standard roof specification can achieve 0.15 U value without the need for insulated plasterboard therefore conforms to the new building regulation changes for both refurbishment and new build installations.
Our system has U-values independently verified by BRE testing laboratories. The system has also been modelled using the latest condensation risk analysis software by BRE.
