Since the government enforced lockdown measures, we have implemented a series of safeguards to protect all our staff and visitors at all our sites across the UK. After careful consideration and with input from suppliers and customers we have decided to re-open all of our manufacturing sites from, 6th May 2020.
Due to the new measures we have in place we will continue to work with a scaled down work force at each site to ensure the new safety actions are effective and adhered to at all times. The health and wellbeing of our staff, their families and all our key stakeholders in the business are our main priority at all times. Only when we are confident our new measures are working safely will we initiate the next phase for more staff to return to the work place, whilst some staff will continue to work from home where possible for the foreseeable future. We will continue to observe the latest Government advice for manufacturers, as well as enforcing strict social distancing rules.
In line with new guidance published by the UK Government, the results of our COVID 19 Risk Assessment for the workplace is available to view on our website. The Risk Assessment and measures will be reviewed from time to time and updates will be released to all on site staff and also published on the website.
Our continuity team has also been on hand to support and advise customers on the latest advice or guidance in terms of working practises moving forward, and we will continue to be available for anybody wishing to share knowledge, experiences or seeking help and advice as we all battle through the uncertain times ahead of us. We are in this together!
