Since the opening of our flagship showroom at our head offices in Blackburn, we have welcomed many customers and homeowners alike. The products on display have helped boost sales of the Prefix WARMroof® and Opal Aluminium windows and doors, all of which are on display in a variety of specification and finishes.
Whilst the showroom is well worth taking time out to visit, the Directors recognised that the showroom is not easily accessible for all of our customers across the UK, therefore the natural next step was to promote the showroom in virtual form online.
The new Prefix virtual showroom allows all our products and key details to be viewed online, but without the added expense of travelling or time out of installers busy schedules. The new showroom means that online visitors can now browse all our entire product range no matter where they are in the UK. It provides all the conveniences of an in-person visit with users able to navigate from one product to another, review key features of each individual product from glass roofs and solid roofs to the ever popular outdoor Verandah and the full range of products under the Aluminium brand ‘Opal’.
The new virtual showroom also allows homeowners to browse the products from the comfort of their own home whilst researching their next home improvement project. We operate a successful registered installer scheme for all our products. Consumers who approach Prefix direct are referred via the scheme to installers in their area. The lead generation scheme is free for all registered installers.
Hannah Wilson our Marketing Manager commented “We launched our new showroom in 2019 before the pandemic and we found it to be a huge success with both trade and consumers. Even post COVID, consumers have been keen to see the products up close before committing to projects, therefore showrooms have never been more important for the large ticket items such as new windows, doors, conservatoires or single storey extensions.’
Hannah continues, ‘Our new virtual showroom is hugely important to existing & potential customers and homeowners who are either too far away to make the visit or who would prefer to view our products online. Each product can be clicked on to view further information & if they see something of interest, then they can get in touch for further information.’
The well-designed virtual showroom is a delight to explore with a 360° interactive and realistic experience. It’s also available to view in VR if our visitors have the equipment, providing them an even more real-life encounter.
Our showroom which is located at our head office in Blackburn, Lancashire is still open to all and we would still encourage trade customers to take a look around in person. No appointment is needed and staff are on hand if required to assist with any questions you may have. Showroom opening times are Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Fridays 8am – 4pm.
